Blasterparts - Modification spring for NERF N-Strike Elite Rampage
Rapid firing action AND range? The Blasterparts Modification Spring for the Nerf N-Strike Elite Rampage makes it possible!
Send a hail of darts with the Nerf Rampage – now even farther!
The biggest asset of the Nerf N-Strike Elite Rampage is without a doubt its rapid fire capability, combined with the large capacity of its 25 round drum. The so-called 'Slam Fire Mechanism' allows you to unleash a constant and fast stream of darts. An improvement in range of course adds to this fun feature. And this is where the Blasterparts Modification Spring comes into play.
This modification spring boosts the range of the Rampage up to about 60% without compromising the Slam Fire feature. The increase in muzzle velocity is also a big add to the blaster because faster darts are harder to dodge.

Exchanging the spring without tiny-parts-hassle
The easiest way to exchange the springs in the Rampage is through the hole under the end cap of the blaster. This way, you avoid opening the blaster completely which may result in tiny parts of the mechanism falling out. Instead, by opening only the back part, the internals can stay in place.
First, remove the end cap and screws in the back of the blaster so you can lift the back part of the shell. Then, pull out the stock main spring carefully using the hole in the back. Insert the modification spring in the same manner over the rod into the plunger tube. Mind the correct position of the plunger catch. Screw on the end cap and test the mechanism before inserting the remaining screws.
