The “Gunmetal Hammershot Tuning-Kit” is a dark-colored, mat version of the “Full Metal Hammershot Tuning-Kit”.

Cock and trigger are made of rigid metal. In comparison to the “Full Metal Hammershot Tuning-Kit” the metal parts are not polished and of a darker color. Thus the Gunmetal Kit serves to lend the Hammershot some kind of used-look.

Gunslinging like a Western Hero

The shape of the cock enables the so called “fanning” which is basically the same as “slam-Fire” speaking in Nerf-Terms.

”Fanning” describes a certain way to operate a single-action revolver and often depicted in Western movies. The trigger is constantly pushed while the other hand just cocks the hammer repeatedly resulting in the drum constantly turning like a fan.
