Blaster Mod of the Week 39

The community on Blasted.de is the German speaking dartblaster community! In this series we’ll present a new awesome mod from the community once a week, every week.

Blaster of the Week

The X-Shot Turbo Advance shown here was elaborately painted to stand out, but it is still clearly recognizable as a toy. The grip areas were painted in wood look, while the main part of the blaster got a snakeskin look. To not overload the Blaster some parts were kept in simple black.

Modder to Modder

The „snakeskin“ shown here is a work intensive but simple painting technique. The parts need to be primed first in a dark green shade. Once dried properly, the blaster should be covered with a fishnet pantyhose. It is necessary that the pantyhose fits tightly. Once the blaster is wrapped, it can be painted with lighter shades of green. After all layers of paint have dried, the pantyhose can be carefully removed and the pattern is left behind.

Blasterparts Mod of the Week

We will continually post a Mod of the Week from here on and would love your support. Maybe you’d contribute a few sentences for our Modder to Modder section if we present your mod, make suggestions which mod should be next or discuss, ask and help one another with tips and tricks around our favourite hobby.
