The world of Toys in „Toy City“ Nuremberg: 170,000 sqm of toys
Yes, you have read correctly – the Nuremberg Toy Fair is by far the largest toy fair in the world. You will find everything and everyone here, you can just browse through plushies or wooden toys for hours or – and this is where we come in – learn about the latest trends in dartblasters. Welcome to the third part of our Blaster Parts World Tour.
Hasbro
Obviously, being one of the largest booths of the fair and better guarded than a fortress, Hasbro was our most important meeting point in Nuremberg. And of course we were mostly interested in one thing: What’s new with Nerf? Unfortunately even mobile phones had to be handed in at the entrance – so no photos for this one.
A lot you have already seen, there was even a blog article about the colossal Titan, but we can’t tell you everything yet. Everybody has seen the Titan by now, but we were allowed to actually use it. The pictures and videos only partly do justice to this Blaster. It’s just pure joy to unleash a storm of darts out of the Titan’s 50 darts drum magazin.
The Fortnite blasters will certainly make fans of both brands, Fortnite and Nerf alike, very happy. The Zombie Strike series will also gain a worthy addition with the Nailbiter, a pretty amazing nail gun.
But apart from Nerf there were more exciting things to see: We got to see exciting new items from brands like Marvel, Star Wars and Transformers. Hasbro had exciting new items in store for us – and you can find them on www.superepic.com.
BuzzBeeToys
BuzzBeeToys has been our partner for many years when it comes to Dartblaster. With the iconic Double Shot and the The Walking Dead blaster series or the huge Mutator they supply us with great and innovative blasters. We have their products on offer since 2010. Another nobrainer for our schedule for this fair.
Not only did we get to see their latest and greatest blasters but also something we’ve been waiting for for a long time: A drum magazine for 30 darts! Of course we asked the question everyone would’ve asked – and we got an answer: The 30 darts drum magazine will be sold separately in a bundle with 30 Darts. We expect it to be available by September this year.
We especially liked one of the blaster models, just because of the name. The „METAMORPH“ (yes, just like our company name) is a blaster that can be converted into three different blasters and can be fired in all three configurations. Pretty cool stuff.
The new blasters along with the 30 darts magazine will be available this september.
Nerf Accessoires
There are some developments when it comes to accessories: Jazwares presented the latest Nerf accessories. In addition to the Nerf shelf, which will be available this year, there was a dart collector and many new targets to see. Definitely something you’ll find here later this year.
Exhausted but happy – this describes the mood on our journey to Berlin after an exciting week in Nuremberg. But just like before Nuremberg, we weren’t done yet. Next stop, two weeks later on our Blasterparts World Tour: New York, where we met bloggers, YouTubers and aquired great new parts.
