The Tri-Strike barrel offers even more options

The barrel extension which is normally only available together with the Nerf Modulus Tri-Strike is now also available separately. A perfect upgrade for anyone who needs a Mega dart option on their blaster in addition to the normal Nerf caliber because it allows four Mega-Darts to be fired separately.

The Tri-Strike barrel extension with Mega Dart launcher

In the Tri-Strike barrel, a Mega Dart missile launcher for four darts is integrated. The way it works is similar to the Nerf Demolisher 's Missile Launcher: First push the pump handle forward and then pull it back rapidly to shoot a single Mega dart. The integrated Smart AR directs the airflow into one of the loaded barrels. If not all barrels are loaded, the Smart AR also ensures that the air is routed to the loaded barrel or barrels.

The Tri-Strike extension does not only fit on Nerf Modulus blasters such as the Recon MKII but also to many Nerf blasters of other series equipped with a barrel extension adapter. The barrel extension gives the blaster a big, beefy look. Since the barrel is quite short, it does not slow down the darts, so the range of the main blaster is not affected.
