The Modification Kits for NERF Dart Tag Speefswarm and Swarmfire complete the Blasterparts modification kits for the Dart Tag Series.

This is a complete modification kit for the Speedswarm. It contains 6 rechargeable Li-Ion batteries that raise the voltage of your blaster from 9V to 22,2V!

We use unprotected Li-Ion cells for this kit (Li-Ion). They are 'unprotected' because they don't have a circuit that protects them from depth discharge. The cocurrent flow motors in some blasters leads to a high load for a short time, which creates a drop in current. Protected batteries would interrupt the circuit, and the blaster wouldn't load. This is why we use unprotected cells. Even a Stampede with a modification spring works with only 4 unprotected batteries. Li-ion batteries also have less self-recharge than their NiMH-counterparts.

Another advantage is that these batteries come in AA-size, so no additional soldering is necessary for our modification kits.

A normal charger or AC adapter is not suitable for charging Li-Ion batteries! Using a charger suitable for different kinds of battery types make sure it is NOT set to NiCd or NiMH
