Blasterparts - Modification spring for NERF Recon CS-6
Get the most out of your Nerf N-Strike Recon with the Blasterparts Modification Spring.
Grant your old Recon an upgrade
The Nerf Recon is a real classic and has been optimized to become the Nerf N-Strike Elite Retaliator. But if you want to find out, how much punch you can get out of your old Recon, you should try our Blasterparts Modification Spring.
This modification spring is a bit weaker than others to protect the internals. However, it still has enough power to grant a big boost in range and dart velocity. So it does not only shoot farther, the darts also fly more quickly. The effect is that your darts can't be dogded as easily anymore.
Features of the Modification Spring for the Nerf N-Strike Recon
- Equivalent mass of spring: 5kg
- Firing range increase: about 90%
- Muzzle velocity increase: about 80%
- Difficulty level of spring installation: moderate
The hole thing makes the whole thing much easier
In the best case, you exchange the spring through the hole under the end cap. This saves you from opening the blaster completely and the internals stay in place.
First, remove the end cap and the screws in the back part of the blaster so you can lift the shell in the back area with a screwdriver. Pull out the stock spring using the hole in the back making sure, all other parts stay in place. Then place the modifcation spring over the plunger in the same manner. Make sure the catch moves smoothly before closing the shell. Put the end cap back on and thest the blaster's function. We strongly recommend not to remove the blaster's air restrictor as the air cushion it generates protects the internal parts.
