The Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Modulus Blaster is awesome for a number of reasons, the most prominent of which is its customizability. With this kit you gain the option of not only customizing the look and feel of the blaster but also its ranges. Just open your battery tray and drop the batteries (and the dummy) included in this kit in. By increasing the blaster's voltage (11.1V instead of the regular 6V) your flywheels spin faster resulting in a significant increase in range and the dart's velocity. The time between shots is also decreased to almost nothing as the motors rev up faster. Keep in mind that Li-Ion batteries require a specially suited charger. The one's included in this kit are unprotected so you will have to recharge them as soon as you notice a drop in ranges to prevent damage to your batteries (they may not be entirely drained).
