The community on Blasted.de is the German speaking dartblaster community! In this series we’ll present a new awesome mod from the community once a week, every week.

Blaster of the Week

The Hyperion Hyperfire: A very minimized Nerf Hyperfire which has been scaled down to pistol size, but with a few new additions. A blaster that now clearly goes for a Sci-fi look and finally offers a cool use for empty CO2 capsules! Suitably painted in the corporate design of Hyperion from Borderlands. A fantastic Cosplay Blaster!

Modder to Modder

The painting technique shown here achieves a cell shading look. The edges are emphasized a lot to create a comic-like effect. A big advantage of this method is the fact the implementation is relatively simple in terms of craftsmanship and is therefore also suitable for beginners. The Blaster is painted in a few colours before all the edges are traced with a felt pen matching the paint. Depending on the blaster this requires some time and concentration, but much less practice and experience than many other techniques. Just give it a try! Also works with not newly painted blasters.
