Blaster Mod of the Week #24

The community on Blasted.de is the German speaking dartblaster community! In this series we’ll present a new awesome mod from the community once a week, every week.

Blaster of the Week

To show the wide variety Blasters have to offer, this week’s Blaster Mod of the Week is our first CEDA! This Blaster is clean and colourful. The personal sports equipment of its owner Lowrhine Mecanical Artworks!

It features a metallic green body with „Joker“ hydrodip paintjob and black details.

The modifications primarily serve the ergonomics and its use in sports: Improved shoulder stock with the Owner’s name, optimized grip and a small optic. Only the aluminium muzzle has no real use but „looks amazing“.

Modder to Modder

The technique shown here is called water transfer printing or hydrodipping. Youtube offers a treasure of tutorials and explanations, but the basics are very easy to explain: A printed film is placed on a water bath and sprayed with an activator. The activator dissolves the film, leaving only the paint floating on the water surface. Now the blaster is pressed through the paint into the water.

The counter-pressure of the water presses the paint against the blaster and thus evenly wraps it around even the smallest edge, groove or corner.

To actually use this, however, clean transfer printing requires some practice.

Blaster Mod of the Week

We will continually post a Mod of the Week from and would love your support. Maybe you’d contribute a few sentences for our Modder to Modder section if we present your mod, make suggestions which mod should be next or discuss, ask and help oneanother with tips and tricks around our favourite hobby.

Jet blaster’s CEDA as well as our tactical and hard range tuning springs are available at Blasterparts.com
